3.8.1         实验内容

l        在Frame Relay的PVC上建立端到端的PPP会话，注意：只能在PVC处于active状态时才能建立。能够在一条Frame-relay链路上的多个虚链路上存在多个PPP会话。(也就是说要PVC仅允许一个PPP会话)。

l        一个PPP连接建立在一个虚拟访问接口上。

l        PPP over Frame Relay仅在IP上支持。

l        硬件压缩和一些队列不能应用于虚拟接口之上像weighted fair queueing, custom queueing, and priority queueing。

l        默认，一个virtual template interface的封装类型是PPP，所以encapsulation PPP不会显示在你的配置中。

3.8.2         实验拓扑

在图3-9 PPP over frame-relay的拓扑示意图中，R5和R6在frame-relay上封装PPP协议。

3.8.3         所需设备

l       路由器3台，一台模拟帧中继交换机。

l       V.35线缆公头两条。

3.8.4         实验步骤

第1步　在接口上配置帧中继封装。

第2步　在子接口上配置Frame-relay 支持PPP。

第3步　配置虚拟接口，包括IP地址。

第4步　配置PPP认证类型（可选），虚拟接口封装默认PPP。见例3-20 所示接口封装。
